Thomas joined Hathaway in 2011 and is involved in all aspects of development and acquisitions of market rate multifamily apartment projects. During his tenure with Hathaway, Thomas has been involved in the closing of over $2.0 billion in transactions. Prior to joining Hathaway, Thomas was a Senior Associate with Silverpeak Real Estate Partners where he spent 3 years in asset management of various real estate asset types for Lehman Brothers Real Estate Private Equity Fund investments. Prior to joining Silverpeak, Thomas was a Transaction Analyst with the mortgage banking firm of IRE Capital Advisors in Atlanta where he was involved in closing over $500 million in transactions. In addition, Thomas held several positions with Turner Broadcasting System in the area of corporate accounting and finance. Thomas’ experience in commercial real estate began in 2003 and he holds a B.B.A. in Finance from University of Georgia and an M.B.A. from Georgia State University.
